It’s Opening Week!

It’s opening week at the Postal Plaza Gallery, which probably means that as you read this, the staff is finalizing the installation of our soft opening exhibitions: highlights of the January exhibition “Sharing A Journey,” which will showcase over 200 works from our permanent collection, will be on view in one gallery, and a display about the renovation and re-design of the Postal Plaza Gallery by Elliot + Associates will be in the other.

If you get any of the local papers, you know that the Oklahoma community is also getting excited! Did you see the coverage in the Oklahoman last week?

  1. As a 1958 graduate of OSU majoring in Art, I’m am so excited about the new Art Museum! The quality of art education has improved so much and I am looking forward to seeing museum. I have learned so much since leaving OSU as a Docent at the Amarillo Museum of Art for over 30 years and as a art teacher and working artist. I plan to visit the campus later this fall and hope to see all the improvements!
